Crash Nomada is a Folk Punk band based in Stockholm. The music is a unique hybrid of folk music from around the world, charged with electric punk rock energy. The band is known for wild live performances and has been labelled as Sweden’s best live band numerous times over the years.
Driven by a thirst for experimentation yet never loosing the danceable club vibe, simplicity and raw energy, Crash Nomada creates a distinctively own anarchic genre-bending type of Folk Punk. Prepare for an intense mix of folk music from south-eastern Europe, North Africa, Scandinavia and the Middle East blended with classic Punk rock in the vein of bands such as Levellers, Mano Negra and Gogol Bordello to name a few.

”Crash Nomada starts Friday off with applause. The party is already underway after a couple of songs and we dance ourselves sweaty under brilliant sunshine to the band’s very peculiar tones. With an amazingly charismatic lead singer plus six incredibly talented musicians; the folk punk roars out from the main stage on the dance floor that vibrates of hundreds of naked, jumping feet. (…) Crash Nomada owns the stage and the audience. I’ve heard their songs online before (…) but never seen or heard anything like it live. The band is full of fun and lifts everyone’s mood like soap bubbles that rise up above the audience swaying sea.” AFTONBLADET, ROCKBJÖRNEN, REVIEW URKULT FESTIVAL
